  • Please for the love of god think them when they cheap OSRS gold say that they don't know if these attributes will even be possible. They will need to spend time designing and researching and preparing and trying to foresee and test issues around these highly experimental characteristics and at the worst (but really very possible) case it will lead to the response that no it's not possible (or not possible more likely as they'd want to do something such as rewrite the runescape game from the ground up and suspend all new attributes for decades ). If people get hyped about that and Jagex sees that as a license to do this highly experimental perform runescape players need to value that may mean less funds placed on more dependable upgrades (something runescape players are already complaining about) plus a threat it just will not work.

Personally I'm all in for this trade-off but I can only see reddit whining in 6 weeks or next RuneFest or whatever and faster-ticks becoming the new bank-rework meme.As somebody who quit playing RS but nevertheless plays OSRS in addition to other hot MMOs I can't stress enough how important the quicker tick rate is to your game. The responsiveness of the game and the UI are the biggest reasons why I refuse to play with it with action pub style battle. There is no additional"better" upgrade. Responsive gameplay makes good games people are willing to spend money on.

Given that the tick shift is a huge project at the scope of the full game, has got the idea appear to change it for regions of the runescape game in isolation that would benefit from it the most, such as battle? I am sure that's also quite an effort to implement, but it would enable gradual rollout and an easier time analyzing server stress. Each part of the runescape game broken by altering the tick could theoretically be looked at one at a time rather than all at once, together with diminishing returns on which actions benefit in the responsiveness. Of course it is still a huge job even then awarded that encouraging only combat to start would also likely require encouraging motion and some other heavily-tied systems if a fantastic solution for making this incremental is found.

Personally, I believe this is the best idea Jagex have experienced a really long time. Not only that, but the simple fact that leagues just last a limited amount of time makes it great for boosting the runescape game on platforms such as YouTube and twitch. Hopefully these leagues may also help bring out some more updates to areas like Zeah, that are notorious for being overly large without enough content (though they have expanded on it fairly nicely since Kebos).

It is PERFECTLY fine should they take pages out of good features from other games using an OSRS twist. Personally, Im quite eager to play with this and that I dont actually care about the benefits! This is the kind of game mode I didnt know I needed but now I can not wait!! I got back to osrs once I saw swampletics at episode 3. I've seen quite a few individuals say similar items in remarks on this subreddit too. I see this as jagex trying to create that experience for the average runescape participant with a good quality of life trusted runescape gold websites and additional goals which is a great thing imo.
