U4N players preparing for the final Expedition should pay attention to how ARC Raiders BluePrints and Caravan progression are affected by the upcoming reset. Expedition 5 will be the last run of the current Caravan system before it enters a long hiatus, so unfinished progress needs to be handled differently from previous Expedition wipes.
The good news for players working on ARC Raiders BluePrints is that partial Caravan progress will not simply disappear. Once the September 29, 2026 departure window closes, unfinished progress will automatically become Ermal Vouchers. These vouchers can then be used with Ermal for useful items or converted into standard Coin.
A Different Kind of Progression Reset
Expedition 5 is scheduled to run from September 8 through September 29. After the window ends, the current Caravan system will be taken offline while the developers work on a larger overhaul.
Community feedback has highlighted problems with tight departure windows and progression wipes. The new voucher system is designed to make the final reset less frustrating for players who invested time but could not complete their Caravan.
Rather than losing all of that unfinished work, players will receive Ermal Vouchers based on the value of their remaining progress.
Finding Ermal After the Conversion
Ermal is the merchant players will need to visit after the conversion. He can be found on the floor of the Speranza lobby.
His rotating offers provide several possible uses for Ermal Vouchers. Players can combine the vouchers with traditional ARC parts and firearms to purchase higher-tier gear, rare blueprints, cosmetics, and inventory upgrades.
Because the offers rotate, it is worth checking the merchant rather than immediately assuming that selling the vouchers is the best choice.
Players who do not need anything from the current shop can instead exchange the vouchers directly for standard Coin. This provides a simple way to turn the leftover Caravan value into a currency that can be used elsewhere.
Completing the Caravan Is Still Worthwhile
The voucher conversion is designed as a safety net, not as the main reward for Expedition 5.
Players who finish their Caravan and manually depart before the deadline can unlock the final progression rewards. Completing the fifth personal Expedition fully unlocks the Zenith Outfit, which gives dedicated players another reason to finish their run.
The Expedition also provides 12 additional stash spaces. With this increase, the current Expedition stash expansion reaches a maximum of 60 extra spaces.
That additional storage can be particularly useful for players who frequently bring materials, equipment, and other valuable loot back from raids.
Persistent Buffs Add Extra Value
Completion also matters because certain earned buffs will survive the Caravan hiatus.
XP bonuses, Scrappy material benefits, and repair-value bonuses earned through consecutive progression will remain active during the multi-month break.
This gives the final Expedition some value beyond its immediate rewards. Even while the Caravan system is unavailable, the benefits earned through the final run can continue helping players with their normal progression.
A More Convenient Quest Reset
Another major change concerns baseline quest progress.
In previous wipes, players could be forced to repeat earlier quest progression. Expedition 5 introduces an option to avoid resetting baseline quest progress.
For experienced players, this should make the transition considerably smoother. Instead of repeating familiar tasks simply because the Caravan system has been reset, they can choose to preserve their existing baseline progress.
This also gives players more freedom to decide how they want to approach the game when the redesigned system eventually returns.
Deciding What to Do Before the Deadline
Your best approach depends on your current Caravan position. If you are close to finishing, manually departing before September 29 is likely worth prioritizing because the final rewards are more valuable than relying on the voucher conversion.
If you have only made limited progress, there is no need to force an exhausting final push. The automatic conversion means your unfinished Caravan still has value.
It is also worth considering what you actually need. A player looking for storage or the Zenith Outfit has a strong reason to finish, while someone primarily interested in Coin may be perfectly comfortable letting the remaining progress become vouchers.
For players who want a particular blueprint rather than whatever happens to be available through a rotating merchant, cheap ARC Raiders BluePrints can be another option when planning future gear and collection goals. The voucher system and direct acquisition methods serve different purposes, so choosing between them depends on what you are trying to obtain.
Expedition 5 marks the end of the current Caravan cycle, but it does not mean every unfinished investment is lost. Complete your Caravan if the remaining workload is reasonable, collect the final rewards when possible, and let Ermal Vouchers preserve the value of anything you cannot finish before September 29.
